One of the best part of my jobs = reminding people who they were at say 5 or 9.
And making the argument that that kind of energy, passion, curiosity can advance serious business ideas and serious projects… sometimes it is a hard sell as it seems “growing up” is in many ways confused with what I call “giving up.”
My advice: Just don’t do it. Find your passion! Take a chance.
I carry around the MOST COMMON REGRETS AT THE END OF LIFE as collected by hospice workers … so if you don’t do it for your business plan, maybe you do it as a gift to yourself at the end of life?
I WISH I HADN’T WORKED SO HARD.
I WISH I HAD STAYED IN TOUCH WITH MY FRIENDS.
I WISH I HAD LET MYSELF BE HAPPIER.
I WISH I’D HAD THE COURAGE TO EXPRESS MY TRUE SELF.
I WISH I HAD LED A LIFE TRUE TO MY DREAMS & NOT WHAT OTHERS EXPECTED OF ME.
